The US Women’s soccer team is one of the most consistently successful sides in the history of international women’s soccer. From hero on the field, to zero in the pen. Early last month Abby Wambach was arrested in Portland, Oregon on suspicion of DUI. She was given a standard field sobriety test, which she failed. She was also given a breathalyzer, which she also failed. She admitted in a public statement that she had been drinking earlier at a friends house, it is unknown how that will affect her case, but it is not likely to be helpful.
