Check Points
While it is illegal for the Police to stop a vehicle randomly without probable cause, it is not illegal for them to stop every vehicle that goes through a particular roadway or intersection
- However, this can only be done if they check every vehicle that passes that point. This is commonly known as a POLICE CHECK POINT
- Almost every state utilizes Check Points in some form. However, the frequency and timing can vary greatly
