SR-22 Regulations
- Almost every state will require you to file an SR-22 form if you are convicted of DUI/DWI
- Delaware, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania do not have SR-22 requirements
- You will still be required to maintain your SR-22 even if you move to a state that does not require it
- SR-22 is a form that your insurance company files with the DMV on your behalf
- The filing itself costs very little, but your premium will be considerably higher as a result
- If you do not maintain your SR-22 for the length of time specified by the court, you will face further penalties
